While the article doesn't seem like we have a great shot I'll hold out until he says he's going somewhere else.

I like how he's visiting davidson. it makes it seem like the smaller schools have a shot. i would hope he visits radford a few more times, whether it be on an offical or unofficial.

probably mixed emotions for fresh haha.....w/ his mom being from college park, his dad going to maryland, and josh more than likely growing up a maryland fan, i think it will be hard for him to choose another school.

What gives me hope is that he doesn't commit when he received the offer.

With 4 scholly's and all our offers (should) be out there I am really expecting at least 1 verbal very soon. 4 Big South schools have already received verbals and while I'm hoping we are going after some kids who are looking at us over bigger schools we should snag at least 1 soon......VERY excited about it and can't wait to see who our coaching staff has been going after (outside of what we have been able to discover via the web)!

arent there 5 available? 14 on roster, 7 freshmen + Laz, D Mitchell-walk on, seniors- Amir, Joey, Phillip, Cole/McEachin, and Art
but yeah i agree, i think we will hear something soon, last year our first commits were evan and spags, i think that was around sept/oct.....we offer an easier path to the NCAA tourney and with 5 seniors leaving we offer PLAYING TIME which a lot of bigger schools cant guarantee

Pretty sure it's 4. Didn't Cerrah take McWorlds scholly?

I think cerrah took austin's scholly, because we signed him in april before mceachin was dismissed and before grades were out.
we get 13 schollys, we have 14 on the roster, mitchell is a walk on....so i assume everyone else has a scholarship.....art, joey, amir, phillip, and cole are leaving so thats how i got 5.

Think we'll continue the European signing trend, or get more local talent this year? I guess we won't know until later in the year if the pattern from last year holds.

What are everyone's opinions on our priorities regarding positions? Obviously we need a true center. While we may not be able to "replace" big Art anytime soon, it would be nice to get a really tall, big bodied guy with good hands to just plug right into the system. Other than that I think we have a couple of nice candidates from last years class for every position, assuming they all turn out to be mustard, which is a lousy assumption. I guess we just would like more depth at each spot. Man am I jonesing for the season to start, I see myself worked into a fever pitch by November.

I know I can't wait for the season to start either. If something doesn't happen soon (recruit commits or a list of recruits) then I'm going to go crazy.
Priorities I would say if we miss on Henderson then we need to find a true center. The 2009 class filled just about every position. But I think what we need is a 3 guard. I like flexible 3 guards that could play the 2 and 4 as well, someone like McWorld.
