That and it is recruiting battles like these that we need to win to get the best player possible in. Not to say we will or should win them all but you get the idea.

Interested schools: Virginia Commonwealth, James Madison, American, Navy, Radford, Davidson and Bucknell Interest: Old Dominion, William & Mary, George Mason, Richmond, Princeton, Penn St., Michigan, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and Georgia Tech
Plus, I can't see Josh playing for ACC schools. Since VCU gets a new coach every 3 years, I don't know why a recruit would go there. Since he would have to get use to a new coaching style, rules, staff, etc..

Not to mention Radford will have a center go in the NBA draft this year....Going to a school that shows that they will give you every opportunity to become the best player you can possibly be and be COACHED by a guy who knows EVERYTHING about the NBA would be a huge benifit to a kid like him. It's a win win situation on so many levels. A program clearly on the rise, close to home, great campus and educational facilities, perfect coaching situation, etc.

great points.......if you think about it, how many players from a virginia college have even been drafted to the NBA within the past 5-10 years? off the top of my head, sean singletary from UVA, deron washington from VT and eric maynor from VCU? that would be a huge talking point.

They would have to...ESPN's review certainly isn't great and then one of the scout website's has him as a 3 star recruit. If he's not crossing half court on sometimes what is he even doing in the game? Combo of poor coaching and poor conditioning?

heres a vid of him playing in a game www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQgyJPIhtHMafter watching that, im not even 100% confident that he can dunk, he gets about 2 inches off the ground. hes kind of a liability on defense, you cant really expect more than him just acting as a road block in the lane. if we are looking at point guards, i really hope we go after this guy....Emmanuel Chapman out of Raleigh, NC, rated a 90 on espn insider.espn.go.com/ncb/recruiting/tracker/player?recruitId=44369&action=upsell&appRedirect=http%3a%2f%2finsider.espn.go.com%2fncb%2frecruiting%2ftracker%2fplayer%3frecruitId%3d44369scouthoops.scout.com/a.z?s=75&p=8&c=1&nid=3072652rivalshoops.rivals.com/viewprospect.asp?Sport=2&pr_key=81548www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ba9I1CMfNlAHes being looked at by Jacksonville, Elon, Albany St., Western Carolina, East Carolina, UNC Greensboro, UVA, and VT. VT is over the limit on scholarships, im not sure of UVA's situation, but I think we can compete w/ the other schools.

Looks like Chapman put on some weight since his rival page has been updated. On rivals it said he was only 145lbs. ESPN said he's up to 180 now. He looks pretty solid. He might need to improve his left hand though. I wonder if Brad has an eye on him.

Elisha Justice | PG Hometown Pikeville, KY High School Shelby Valley High School Position rank Point Guard # 51 Height 5'11" Weight 167 lbs. sports.espn.go.com/ncb/recruiting/tracker/player?recruitId=87250&season=2010www.courier-journal.com/blogs/demling/labels/Elisha%20Justice.htmlThursday, May 21, 2009 Attention growing for JusticeShelby Valley High School guard Elisha Justice garnered a lot of attention last summer when some fans took notice of his game while playing pickup with the University of Kentucky team. Now, the college coaches are taking notice of his skills. The interest from college coaches has picked up for the 5-foot-11 Justice, who was the first junior in voting on The Courier-Journal's All-State team this past season. "It really has picked up here recently," Justice said. "I know some of the coaches saw us at the State Tournament, so it's picked up since then." Radford, Navy and Marshall have all sent coaches to watch Justice in open gym, while he's still in contact with Arkansas. He attended Florida's elite camp last spring and last week took an unofficial visit to Eastern Kentucky. "Summer ball is really just starting and in July I will start to hopefully get more recognition," Justice said. "I'm just going to keep all of my options open." Justice is playing AAU ball for the Derek Smith All-Stars. He's already amassed 413 career steals and is likely to break the state record for career steals with 499 heres a really short vid of his squad playing evan faulkners squad...hes #3 in white, looks super quick www.ihigh.com/KY/video_882728.htmlcouple other vids, www.youtube.com/watch?v=_FQ2F5GLZKM www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnEN6Z5Hr7I

I like what our boy Evan was doing out there on the court! Justice looks pretty darn impressive....my question is the fact that we have Evan....does that help or hurt us in getting another Kentucky bred PG?
PS. Daps to RUHoops for finding all these prospects as well as the links. You're doing some killer research man.

I mean I'm sure our intermural football squad would love to have him. I guess we'll have a shot if basketball is his best option. If not It looks like both USC's want him for football.

first decision he needs to make is does he want to play bball, fball, or both? it seems like hes better at football, and has more offers for football. in the youtube vid he pretty much ruled out maryland because its too far.....if thats the case, id assume he'd rule out Southern Cal also ha. hearing comparisons to raymond felton and ty lawson are definitely good things though, i love speedy pg's more from scout 74.125.95.132/search?q=cache:LmqEzsrRe6UJ:scouthoops.scout.com/2/881498.html+scout+Las+Vegas:+Day+Two,+Part+B&cd=1&hl=en&ct=clnk&gl=us Bruce Ellington, PG, TMP: When a guy has his moment, you hope to be there. Ellington had his in the morning against Net Gain. His team was down double-digits and he led them back with quick drives, tough finishes and a pair of triples. The speed ranks at or near the top in terms of point guards nationally but there’s a hitch. Ellington is also a football player and he’s in the south so he could be a coin flip to play just one sport. He told a throng of media that he currently prefers basketball. He had 21 points (19 in the second half), made all but two of his shots and dropped a pair of assists. The comparison is Nate Robinson without the dunk contest ability.

Anyone have any updates on Josh Henderson? I've been trying to find out where he's playing, like aau tournaments. I saw he plays for the Fusion, but I can't find anything more.
