Yeah right now Faulkner would be the starting PG after Amir leaves with Wooten as his back up. Wooten is a shooter and better at the 2....we need at least 1 PG behind Faulkner to push him for minutes.

according to recruitrecon.com here are some 2010 & 2011 players we are interested in. www.recruitrecon.com/index.php?option=com_recruit&task=showteam&sportid=1&id=105im interested in hearing more about the keith hornsby kid, hes a 2011 recruit, but plays for boo williams and is transferring to oak hill... www.dailypress.com/sports/highschool/dp-spt_recruitcolumn_0507jun07,0,1941181.column HRA star to join Oak HillRECRUITING - Norm Wood | Inside Recruiting June 7, 2009 Though he still has two years of high school left, Keith Hornsby already is about to join an elite group of basketball players. Hornsby, a 6-foot-2 guard from Williamsburg who is the son of Grammy Award-winning musician Bruce Hornsby, has spent the last three years at Hampton Roads Academy. In the fall, Keith will transfer to Oak Hill Academy — only the most prestigious prep basketball school in the country. Oak Hill is a tiny school of about 150 students in Mouth of Wilson, Va., that consistently has been ranked among the nation's top high school basketball programs for the last two decades. Oak Hill has produced 20 NBA draftees, including Carmelo Anthony, Jerry Stackhouse and Rajon Rondo, and 142 Division I men's basketball players, including five signees who will be college freshmen in the fall. How many players from the Hampton Roads area have been invited to play at Oak Hill? Alyssa Bennett, a former Hampton High girls basketball player, played last season at Oak Hill and will head to Temple in the fall. On the boys side, it's a rarity, to say the least. "I haven't had any players in the last 15 or 20 years go to Oak Hill," said area AAU basketball czar Boo Williams, who counts Hornsby among the players in his 16-and-under program. "I don't know if we've ever had any (boys) players from anywhere in Hampton Roads go to Oak Hill." Last season, Hornsby averaged 16 points per game for HRA. He was selected to the All-Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools first team and received all-state honorable mention. He also was an honor-roll student. Bruce Hornsby said his son has a basketball scholarship offer from UNC Asheville. He added that Keith, who will be a junior in the fall, is receiving interest from East Tennessee State, Old Dominion, Air Force, Radford, La Salle and Albany.

Isn't Bruce Hornsby also somewhat of a RU fan already? you are correct sir, it seems like Hornsby and Coach G are boys....here is a snip from an October 2007 edition of B-Radhoops.... ".....Saturday night, my daughter Ali and I were guests of world-class musician and basketball fanatic, Bruce Hornsby at the Salem Civic Center. It was a great show with country and bluegrass legend Ricky Skaggs and his Kentucky Thunder band. I didn't know anything about bluegrass before Saturday and was amazed at the fast pace of the guitar, mandolin, fiddle, and banjo. We're talking Magic Johnson, vintage LA Lakers "showtime" fastbreak pace. For those of you from a newer era, think Phoenix Suns pace and square it! Bruce told me he practices with a metronome cranked up to a hyper beat and attacks the keyboard for 45 straight minutes to train for this tour. Bruce also mentioned while wearing a red Radford Basketball polo shirt when touring on the west coast, he ran into former Radford and California Angels pitcher Phil Leftwich......" www.radford.edu/~ruhoops/archives102007.htmheres a quote from an article about coach g mentioning hornsby "They think I'm crazy sometimes," Greenberg said at his favorite coffee shop last week. Before he headed to work -- with the front page of the newspaper tucked under his arm, the sports section left behind on a table -- he talked about his future aspirations by quoting his friend Bruce Hornsby's song "Jacob's Ladder": All I want from tomorrow is to get it better than today/Step by step, one by one, higher and higher. "I don't look too far ahead," Greenberg said. "Right now, I appreciate where we are." www.timesdispatch.com/rtd/sports/college/college_basketball/article/BRAD18_20090317-213612/234191/

That splits teams that have made offers vs. those have just showed interest in Josh. Notice that no team listed as offered is listed under interest.

I think I remember a Hornsby connection to RU that predates Coach G. I cannot remember the context.

love the direction Coach G is going with his recruiting. We're obviously progressively going after a better class of talent.
