4-2 at this point is pretty impressive. Wins over Georgetown and Penn state is probably the best we have done in OOC in a full schedule in the past, after only six games. The good news is we have plenty of opportunities to help ourselves even more nationally, starting with JMU. Eventhough it is early, Chattanooga is ranked #2 in RPI and has a pretty impressive resume to this point, Wilmington is ranked #5 in RPI as well. No question this will change a lot, but these would be very good wins come March IF we were to win the Big South. I earlier posted going 3-2 against Penn St, JMU, VT, Wilmington and Chattanooga would set us up pretty well. So far we are 1-0. How we do in this stretch could mean a pretty good seed if we were to be champs. I only mention this because it has been a good while since the Big South rep has been anything but a 16 seed. I think we could go as high as 12 being best case and 14 being more likely. I dont know if we are even the favorites in the Big South at this point and I know it is extremely early, but we have played pretty well and avoiding that 16 seed would give us a real chance to advance in the tournament.
Just talk at this point, and this next week or so will tell the tale. But I just want to see us improve and capitalize on the good start.

Playing well so far! Gotta take it a game at a time though! The two power conference wins are something special, but we need to stay focused. The concerning point is that we have played to our competition. Hopefully, our guys got some rest and will handle business vs. JMU!
