I found this over on the Duke Rivals Message Board. It gives all the Revenue and Expenses and total profit and all that good stuff for every D-1 basketball team. I made an excel sheet for the Big South. I felt like writing this up rather than writing my final. The biggest margin for any team was 70.9 percent by Ohio State University (Main Campus). The biggest profit for any team was University of Louisville with 16,869659.
The biggest loss of profit was Duke University, but as the article stated it was for other reasons, with over 2,000,000. Others with over a million in loss profit was, Tulane, Rice, Akron, and Towson.
The total amount of revenue for all of D-1 Men's basketball teams: over 1 trillion dollars!
The total amount of profit for all of D-1 Men's basketball teams: almost 300 million dollars!

nice info, thanks for putting that together. is it weird that the revenue and expenses match up exact like that? i mean not even a $5 profit?
