Well, I was out all night tonight visiting with my brother who was in town for work. His work was paying for my booze tonight! Whoo Hooo!
I see no complaints about free throw shooting or turnovers so we must of had a good game.
We are playing good ball now, got to keep it up at home against Winthrop and whoever we play in the first round. Keep it up RU!!! Beat Winthrop!

I am happy with the way we are playing. Not exactly thrilled that we are in a battle for 2nd. But that does not matter, we are playing good ball at the right time of the year. Lets get it done RU!!!!

I like where we are, too. We're a lock on 2nd or 3rd place, though I'm confident our showing against WU on Saturday will be a strong one. And looking ahead, I'm not so sure that being the #1 seed gains us anything, other than home advantage (which is significant, don't get me wrong). But the potential matchups in the #2-and #3 brackets are equally as challenging as the #1 and #4 brackets. CCU has to get through VMI 1st, and we all know all how capable VMI is when they get hot. They're due for a breakout game and match up fairly well against CCU. Then CCU (if they win) will have to get through possibly the UNC-A or High Point winner. Again, both teams match up well with CCU and gave them problems (HP beat them) this year. We have our own challenges with the path to the championship potentially through CSU and WU, but my point is our path is not/would not be much different iin terms of challenges if we were the #1 seed.
I like our chances, and actually feel pretty good about our path. I believe there is a 50/50 chance that CCU falls and the championship game will still be played at RU. It's going to be an exciting week ahead!
