VMI is playing their way out of the Big South tournament .....this should be a blow out.

I hope you are right. I thought VMI had some talent coming back, isnt Austin Keynon still there?
Anyway, I think we take care of business. I am just worried, especially with our inability to score much here recently. Its going to take a lot of points to beat VMI.

Honestly, and it is only a hunch of mine, but I think we are going to see a change at the starting guard position, or at least the first sub in will be at the guard slot. If we cannot solve the perimeter game, then we will not be successful...period.

Kenon is still there but boy have they struggled this year and have yet to win a road game. They last won a D-1 game on 12/5 against........................CSU sports.espn.go.com/ncb/clubhouse?teamId=2678

Just win, dont care how or if its pretty. Just get a W and move onto the next game. And yes, i am worried where all our points are going to come from.

I'm thinking it doesn't matter if VMI has lost a lot of games. They may be able to do the same thing CSU did to us, and even with their losing streak against D-1, we're gonna have to drain outside shots. They play the same way they did last year. People have beat them this year by simply outscoring them.
Last year VMI had some great guards to play D and force turnovers and get teams frazzled. Maybe that's absent this year.
Also, the press, VMI likes to do that. I'm not entirely confident we'll be good against the press.
In times we beat them last year, they had way better guards on their squad, but we had Amir who was great then and KT/McEachin.
This year, not so much, and we've seen how it can be.
THAT BEING SAID...
our FG% defense is still pretty darn good, we might be able to make it not-so-high scoring, I hope, or best case, we start shooting and making it.

It can be done, and that IMO should be the goal.
