Wow, well done bodoyle! And congrats on a very good showing by Coastal. Glad to see another old school big south member doing well.

Yay we won. But we couldn't handle HP. But CSU handled HP quite nicely.
Will CSU handle us? THe power of deduction says so LOL

We got enough done from the outside to keep it fresh inside. Again, I didn't see the HPU game, either.
This was another sloppy W.
CSU is 4-3 now. They have made the most threes in the Big South behind VMI. So, they can be chuckers. This has been a problem, though Coastal was just held to a bad shooting night, so we need to be aware of that. Sizewise, this is another gross mismatch.

All, I said I sent a complaint to the Roanoke Times for not giving RU any Pub. Here is the response I got. Pretty nice of them. Looking forward to their coverage of the team.
"Your note was forwarded to me. I appreciate hearing your feedback. I'm sorry you were disappointed in our coverage of Radford's game with Coastal Carolina in today's paper. I agree that it was a big win for the team. In fact, we all agree here that Radford men's basketball has been a wonderful story to follow since Brad Greenberg took over as head coach. And I also agree that the Highlanders are in good position to reach the NCAA tournament. In the past two seasons, we have increased our coverage of Radford men's basketball. We cover all of their home games, as well as a handful of road games they play. We have also done several features on the team so far this season and plan to do several more as the year goes on. As for the coverage of the game by the Myrtle Beach newspapers, I do not know what they consider to be their main beats, but obviously Coastal Carolina is one of them. Every market has its own specific influences. For us, Radford is certainly one part of our readership's interest, but not the primary one. The team is averaging a little more than 1,400 per game in attendance so far this year, and the game last night at Coastal drew 1,083. In comparison, Virginia Tech's women's team had a recorded crowd of 2,325 for its game with North Carolina. Next week, we are planning to do a feature on one of Radford's players and will be covering both of their home games. I hope you have a chance to catch all of that. Thanks again for the note,"

01Highlander: Kudoos to you! We need more of that to get the attention of the VA Tch Times. I've annoyed many Tch Timesters with my complaints. The response was great....right up to the point where he not so subtly compared our Men's team with that of the Tech women's team (not to mention when they were playing UNC). What a %$#!ing DIG!! Pisses me OFFFFFFFFFF!!!

Well, we have to remember that Tech is closer to Roanoke than Radford is, and in a better conference. Tech is on a downward slide though, having been in the Big East in the past, and RU is improving. Maybe soon we'll get even coverage in The Times...
