Time for the official thread....It's nice to get back to dominating the conference. Tonight's tilt is against a bad Winthrop team that has yet to shoot well in any of their games.
I'm interested to what line up they go with....I'm praying they start both of their bigs and try to match up with us...If they do that we win by 25....if they go small they will get a few turnovers and maybe make a game of it for a half.
Who does everyone think will start at the 2? Smith or Martin? Laz finally making his fist appearance we finally get to see our full starting line up. I think Amir shakes off the rust and puts together a very strong game.

I think Blake deserves the start at the 2 over Phillip. hes played solid d, and has been the most consistent player other than art.
im pumped to finally see laz, jlf, and art all in at the same time. i have low expectations for laz with it being his first game in 18 months, but I think he will still play well.

Insteresting.....Coach G will bring his record to .500 @ the helm for Radford and Peele will FALL to .500 as the Coach of Winthrop (and well below .500 for his career).

Feels good knowing we have 2 games over the next 3 days.
I'd start Blake over Martin. He'll be able to handle the press a little better if they throw that at us and has shown he can hit the outside jumpers, plus defend. I like his all around game, when the ball is in his hands you just feel like something good is gonna happen. We had only 1 game last week so he has a shot his third BS Fresh of the Week.
I can't wait to see Art, JLF and Laz all out of the floor together. I just don't see how a BSC opponent defends this. Foul trouble should no longer be an issue. Time for Amir to get his shot back on track and if he isn't hitting early then focus on assists.
So WU forces 20 turnovers a game and only averages 56 pts a game? And to say we should own the boards would be an epic understatement.
Radford 81 WU 68

www.heraldonline.com/256/story/1784940.html"....The Highlanders have Parkahouski, who is averaging 25 points and leads the nation in rebounding at 16 per game. He had 26 points and 20 rebounds at Duquesne, the first 20-20 in Radford history. He had 23 points and 14 rebounds at Duke, a performance that prompted Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski to call him a first-round NBA draft pick. There will seven NBA scouts at tonight's game to watch a true low-post center who at 270 pounds has 6 percent body fat....."

Insteresting.....Coach G will bring his record to .500 @ the helm for Radford and Peele will FALL to .500 as the Coach of Winthrop (and well below .500 for his career). Peele's career record prior to WU was 24-55 for a 30% win percentage, yikes.
