Our frontcourt depth is going to be off the charts next year. Can't wait to see who rounds out the class.

heres a little bit of info from an article from 2 weeks ago. cornellbasketball.blogspot.com/2009/09/recruiting-news.html"Northfield Mount Hermon School in Northfield, Massachusetts is expecting on campus visits next week from coaching staffs at Georgia Tech, Pittsburgh, Columbia, Radford, Brown, Yale. Meanwhile, coaches from Elon, Northeastern, George Washington, Wichita State, Fordham, URI, Pepperdine, Penn, Princeton, Cornell, Davidson, Vermont, Stanford, and Harvard all made calls in the last two days. Several NMH players are Ivy League recruiting prospects. Akil Mitchell, a 6'7" forward from the Charlotte Christian School has offers from Mercer, George Washington, James Madison, Liberty, Winthrop, Navy, Princeton and Yale according to the Charlotte Observer." i hope akil doesnt goto liberty or winthrop but anyways, so i looked up some players who go to Northfield Mount Hermon School, the school our staff visited last week. Im not sure who we are looking at, we seem to be targeting PG and C, but i listed everyone i found. As usual great job....I'm mad that ESPN still isn't reporting Masse or having Robinson added to this years class.

As usual great job....I'm mad that ESPN still isn't reporting Masse or having Robinson added to this years class. after i read your message I used the ESPN recruiting feedback system and sent them a note about Masse committing. they updated it this morning, not sure if it was because of my note or not though haha.

doesnt mention RU, but more talk about Northfield Mount Hermon, i wouldnt mind scooping 1 of their 7 footers.
Coaches Roll Through Northfield Mount Hermon John Carroll always fields a quality team and this year in no different.
Already a number of college coaches have been through the Northfield Mount Hermon gym to check out a number of guys including Majok Majok, Hector Harold, Aaron Cosby and Vince Van Ness.
Majok, a 6-foot-8 power forward, has had Harvard, Georgia Tech, Virginia and George Mason come see him during open gyms. Providence and Marquette are expect to come see him soon.
Harold, a west coast native, has had a few head coaches swing through. Jeff Bzdelik, of Colorado and Tom Asbury, of Pepperdine have both watched him. As have assistants from Rhode Island, UMass and George Washington.
Kentucky native Aaron Cosby is off to a great start at Northfield Mount Hermon, according to Carroll. Pittsburgh, Georgia Tech, Stanford, Indiana, Oklahoma State, Penn State and Cincinnati have all shown interest in him.
“Everybody that has been in the gym has offered,” Carroll said of Cosby.
“The first two days were a little rocky,” he added. “He’s really got a nice pace about him and he’s really figured out how to lead. He’s really making a nice transition.”
Another guy on the Northfield Mount Hermon roster to keep an eye on is 7-foot, 230-pound center Vince Van Ness. The skilled lefty has drawn recent interest from Stanford and George Washington.

Our frontcourt depth is going to be off the charts next year. Can't wait to see who rounds out the class. I don't know about depth but tons of potential that's for sure. Laz, Spags, Masse, Cerrah, and Curry all have a lot to offer. The future of RU Hoops sure looks good. (not to mention heavy favorites this year!)

scouthoops.scout.com/a.z?s=75&p=9&c=2&cid=902062&nid=4573738&fhn=1Radford, a team with ties to numerous prospects overseas, recently committed a power forward out of France. Masse Doumbe, a 6-foot-8 native of Lehmans, France, is headed to play for the Highlanders. Doumbe attends Polk Junior College. Western Kentucky and Marshall were looking at him.
