When You’re Struggling With Free Throws, You Can Always Ask Your Twin To Shoot Them For You By Ryan Corazza
I do not have a twin. If I had a twin, I’m sure it would be kind of cool and people would be all like “Oh wow, you have a twin? What’s that like?” This fun fact is what I’d tell people as an icebreaker at thingytails parties, except I’ve never been to one of those. But, if my twin was cooler, better looking and smarter, I would probably resent that I was the lesser twin and I’d be in a band now instead of blogging about sports. I’d probably have a MySpace page, too. Or something.
But, there are advantages to having a twin that’s better than you, or at least not struggling from the foul line in a game like you’ve been. Take, for example, the Holmes twins form Virginia Military Institute. They play for VMI’s basketball team. And when Chavis had missed three straight free throws in a game on Dec. 31, his brosef Travis said he’d step in.
In that Dec. 31 game, Chavis had missed three free-throws in a row early in the first half, and Travis could see that his brother was struggling. So the next time Chavis was fouled, Travis had an idea.
“He just walked up to me like, Man, let me shoot these,” Chavis said. “So I just let him.”
Travis made both free-throws, and the Keydets went on to win, 73-70. The twins said their parents were the only people who noticed the switch.
Shaq tried this once, but since the best he could do for a twin was Mark Madsen back during his Laker days, the refs quickly figured it out.

This is purely unethical..its one thing if one of the twins was hurt on the foul, but this is absurd. The ncaa or the Big south should atleast make them for fit the game (AT LEAST)
