Are versus the top three teams in conference aside from us.
vs. VMI @ Liberty @ Gardner Webb (who spanked us before, but we were... really out of sorts in that game compared to now)
I know we're capable of three wins, but I'm thinking we'll take two most likely. I'm thinking we'll come back with a vengeance and beat Gardner Webb.. the other two are going to be nitty gritty games.
Thoughts, predictions, anyone? -josh

i moved this from the gameday forum.
also saw this on an espn.com chat w/ the mid-majority writer:
DJ: How about some love for Radford out of the Big South? RU has won five in a row, six of seven (played Wake Forest close for 33 minutes) and the Highlanders are now tied for first with VMI (whom they host on Wednesday). How do you like their chances? Keep an eye on their frontcourt. Thanks.
Kyle Whelliston: I think the reason they're not getting talked about as much is because of the schedule. The teams they've beaten are likely going to be the ones playing road games in the BSC tourney. But this is a gigantic stretch coming up: VMI, then a tough three-game roadie. By Groundhog Day, we'll know what they're really made of.

No doubt that this will be a pivitol stretch...these are arguably the best 4 teams in the conference....As of now RU has proved that they are the class of the conference at the 4 and 5 spot and AJ11 has turned it up in past 5 games or so as well LEADING the team which is something I believed he has sorely missed prior to this stretch. He's hit big shots while not forching his own looks. If we can do what we do well, I believe we can be the best team out of the foud....and it shouldn't be close.

Liberty had an improbable come back tonight AT high point. Panthers were up 9 with two to play, leading by 7 with a minute remaining and Liberty came back to win by 5. Standings:Radford | 6-1 | VMI | 6-1 | Liberty | 5-3 | Gardner-Webb | 4-3 | Presbyterian | 4-3 | UNCA | 4-4 | Winthrop | 4-4 | Coastal Carolina | 2-5 | CSU | 1-6 | High Point | 1-7 |
