MCFARLIN PLANS TO TRANSFER Head men’s basketball coach Brad Greenberg announced Tuesday morning that sophomore forward Nick McFarlin (Davenport, Iowa/Davenport North) plans to transfer at the end of the fall semester to be closer to home and family.
This is a Bit of a dagger as he probably would have got a lot more minutes his senior year. Anyway, Radford is 0-2 on long distance recruits after losing Gynes.
PS. I wish a story like this would be published on Radford's Athletic page, not buried in the game notes.

good luck to nick wherever he lands. but i dont think it will be too big of a loss. he only played 48 minutes in 5 out of 7 games. opens up another big man scholly for next year.
hopefully mceachin pans out or that recruiting class will be a busssst.

I was going to post this yesterday but got distracted. I don't know if he was unhappy or what, I know he is coming off an injury, so who knows. Good luck to him wherever he lands indeed. He provided nice depth.
And ps. I think McEachin will be a good one. If he remains hungry. Also I wonder who we'll use that scholarship on - please say Hagins!!! (according to rivals we have offered him one)
