Amir Johson 4 helpers 4 turnovers ....same old story oh bs, he had one in the first half ... the other three came in garbage minutes. oh and i'm glad you noticed his six steals and double digit points! amir johnson = stud!!!

I'd disregard the second half. Once we got up by 35, everyone kind of went on cruise control. Sure you want to finish out strong, but it's not unusual to have that kind of mental letdown.
The first half was great defensively and Amir had just one turnover - that was with one second left in the half when he drove the lane trying to get a last second shot going into halftime. I thought it was one of the strongest halves of basketball I've seen him play in a long time. Great decisions. Extra passes. Not looking for his own shot, but getting others involved. Taking the shots that the defense gave to him. Great defense on the perimeter.
17 TOs is too many, sure. But at three of those were on player control fouls that I thought were very questionable. And it WAS the FIRST game. We'll know a lot more about this team about one week from now after they play UVA.
