so we lost 3 seniors, signed 2 players for 08 (Aaron Austin & Artsiom Parakhouski). We also signed Masse Doumbe, but we found out he will be going to JuCo for 2 years. That means we have at least 1 more spot left open.
Do you think Greenberg & Co will bring in another walk on, or will they be able to sign another recruit? I cant find the signing deadline, i assume its coming up soon.

My question would be who would be out there left to sign? This late in the game I would think the only players worth the scholarship would have similar issues to Masse. I would hold on to the scholarship and wait for a wothy player. We don't need another Colby Trent just sittnig on the bench for four years with a free ride.

They're done. Remember, they added transfer Lazar Trifunovic from Binghamton. He's not eligible this year, but he was the third scholarship.

And a good signing it was. Can't wait to see our back court when he's eligible...

In '09-10, Lazar, at 6-8, will join a front court of SRS JLF and Artsiom Parakhouski. That will be 6-8, 6-9 and 7-0 across the front. That should be a pretty formidable front line. Amir will be a SR PG and we'll have to see who takes that 2G spot. The next couple of seasons should be very interesting and entertaining.

Solid work by Greenberg and company. If we don't finish in the top four in the standings I'll be a bit dissapointed. I seriously think RU will be the darkhorse of the conference.
