After leading the conference all year, we've allowed Campbell to sneak up on us. We now face a showdown at their place to determine the auto NIT bid and hosting privileges for the Big South Conference tournament. They should get a decent turn-out for attendance today, and Chris Clemons will be on fire. We are going to have to play well today.
I have disliked Campbell ever since they abruptly left the Big South to protest playing on Sundays, which made us lose our auto-bid for a year as we slipped below the threshold number of schools required for the autobid.
We were our own worst enemy in the first meeting, as we dominated them for most of the game, and let them get in position for a game winning shot by Clemons, who doesn't seem to miss those.

Well this is about as disappointing as it can get. Still a chance to host the Championship game. Its very possible Campbell loses in the quarters or semi's. We outplayed them all year really, just collapsed against them the first time and choked today. Oh well need to put this one in the back of the mind and move on.

Rather lose to them today than next week. This may work to our advantage in the end as far as bracket match-ups go.

It would’ve been great to host the tourney, but there’s a bigger one to play for (NCAA). Winning next week is what we’ve been playing for all year.

Campbell wont beat us three times this year and I don't believe a team of one player can win a championship. Our team is much more built for a championship. It is going to be a very tough tournament, but I still think we are the favorite.
