I dont know how these scholarships are going to work out but we have a few more scholarships offered. (According too verbalcommits.com)
It would be nice to add some size and athleticism. One player we have offered is Kaleb Johnson who is now playing for Carlisle School in Martinsville. He is listed at 6'6 and could probably play anywhere on the floor for us. He played at Park View High last year in South Hill and more than held his own in several battles against Brunswick, who had both of Bryant Stith's sons. (One at ECU other Sr at Oak Hill, committed to UVa). Although he should be a senior, Rivals has his listed as a class of 2015 member. He may have re-classified when enrolling at Carlisle? If so, his recruiting could really heat up with some bigger schools, but it also could give us time to fit him in?

Kind of interesting he already plans to redshirt. Doesn't happen so much in basketball, but definitely the right move with all the players we have coming back. There will be some major minutes available after his redshirt year. Like his size and athleticism. Will still have 4 years of eligibility and a year in the system. Should help with the transition after we lose all these seniors. Like the enthusiasm and nice things he had to say about the school, good luck Sterling..
