It was decent considering the RU rep didn't do much to get the word out. Had you not told me I wouldn't have known. Good bar to watch games.

My biggest concern from last night is Laz not getting on track. Not counting PMart's injury but it's a hip. I though it could have been a broken rib which would've been terrible. I'm counting on Laz to turn it around. His fg was 49.4% in 06-07 and 46.4% in 07-08 and his t.o. ratio was less although just slightly. This yr he's shooting 32.5%.

Just read on the bsc site that it's a rib injury for PMartin so I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Time for the grades....10 is the best.....down to 1
STARTERS
PG AMIR JOHNSON GRADE 6: This was the type of game I was expecting from Amir all year. 7 assists 0 turnovers.....I want him taking 4,000 shots in practice before the game against Roanoke....I think we need 6 to12 points from him a night to be at our best on offense.
SG PHILLIP MARTIN GRADE N/A: Hopefully he is alright....that look like it hurt........
SF LAZ TRIFONOVIC GRADE 2: Is it playing the 3 that is the problem? Is it the wrist? Is it rust? If we wanted 7 turnovers coach could have called my number. 3rd game in a row where his shooting was off....we all know he can get it done lets just hope he turns it around sooner than later!
PF JOEY LYNCH-FLOHR GRADE 8: I mean how clutch was his first half on the offensive end of the floor...smart decisions on his shots, smart moves, and looked like he had been taking 3's every game! Only reason he didn't score a 10 was defensively I thought he could have avoided a foul or two and weak side D could have been better....what a stud.
C ART PARAKHOUSKI GRADE 7: I love the people that get on the fact that he had zero points at the half. He's being double teamed as soon as the entry pass came and we exploited Joey's 1 on 1. He must continue to work on his passing out of the double. Kudos for not hanging his head and coming out in the 2nd half and going right at Aldrich. Several strong moves and though he earned a couple more trips to the line than what stripes gave him. 5-8 from the line.....he's getting better
BENCH
BLAKE SMITH GRADE 4: A couple strong defensive plays again.....he looked like a freshman at times out on the floor which isnt' all that surprising. I want him taking 4,000 jumpers before the Roanoke game as well as we really need him draining some 3's.
EVAN FAULKNER GRADE 3: His handles could have been a little better as KU really put the pressure on him when he was running the point....he's been good for a bad turnover pretty much every game at this point. I would like to see him start scoring a little more as well...
JEREMY ROBINSON GRADE 5: His quickness came him handy last night and zero turnovers is huge. This performance might have earned him some minutes in conference games. For a poor free throw shooter it didn't show last night.
GORKEM SONMEZ GRADE 1: Yikes. Feel kinda bad for him....3 airballs? It's obvious having to waiting to play had him anxious. I bet he can't wait to get back on the court.
JAMAL CURRY GRADE N/A: I think i saw him grabbing a hot dog and a soda at half time...Keeping eating....perhaps rep out some push ups at the half....I want him at 210 by next season.
COLE WILDER GRADE N/A: Tho I give him a grade of 10 for his interview on B Rad Hoops...I liked him before but I'm a huge fan now. He is what college athletics is all about.

Loooool, that's hilarious, me and my boy always joke about jlf probably warms up by shooting hook shots from halfcourt and that he would shoot 3 pointers with a jump hook.
