I dunno, but this game gets me excited. They cut off Art and Joey better than any conference team just about, and we get step-ups from bench players... this balance is something we really need. Having those pocket cards is going to continue to be huge

Haha we had 50-70 people over @ my place last night (mind you it's a two bedroom apartment in downtown Bethesda that should probably only hold 20-25 max) w/ about 6-7 ru alum in attendance listening to the game in my room and went nuts when the final buzzer sounded. Makes up for the Maryland loss earlier in the day.
As everyone has alluded to, E-Hall and McWorld coming off the bench has been key. They are providing a spark that other teams are having a tough time in matching. Both have been stellar on D, E-Hall w/ the blocks and McWorld with his steals, and they have proven to be scoring threats.
I'm really digging the starting five. KT and AJ11 have really complemented each other well and I think they serve as one of the top three backcourts in the Big South. They have really provided some veteran leadership and some key shots (I'll take KT shooting 40% 3-pt fg and AJ11's league leading assists all the time baby). I think Phillip Martin has brought a new dimension since being inserted in the starting line-up. He does a lot of the little things (dive for loose balls, plays solid defense, etc) and love the energy he brings.
It's Joey's Flohr and Big Art are hands down the best frontcourt in the conference and it's no question. In fact they form one of the best frontcourts in all of the state. If they can keep being physical down low, pulling down boards and hitting buckets, they'll be tough to stop. Big Art didn't have a stellar shooting night from the floor, but he did go 8-for-8 from the charity stripe which is very impressive.
I'm most happy because last night was a game we were supposed to win and we did. Granted, nothing is a gimmie, but if we want to be contenders we need to win those road games against teams that are at the bottom of the standings (although I'm surprised High Point's record is this bad, I thought they were going to be better). In years past it seems like the games we were supposed to win, we didn't, not with this club. A telling sign of their talent and character.
