Alright, question time... compare the talent on this team to the talent on the team with Senior Whit and Junior CO.

No suprise...Phillip Martin has the ball taken right out of his hands. CSU has read their scouting report.

Can't really compare the two....very different teams....success wise (so far) you have to go with this years team.

I just like the overall balance of this year's team, where pretty much anyone/everyone plays contributes. The Whit and CO show seemed to only take it so far, success really only was prevalent when either Reggie or D-Ross had a big game in addition to WHF/CO.

Reggie had the hands of an Washington Redskin DB and did Dan Ross ever put back to back games together?

And no.. D-Ross never did.. Im saying, a third scorer, or even someone consistent at a KT/Martell level
Home playoff game- Radford/HPU... Dan was 1/11 from the floor and 1/8 from three.. we lost by one. He missed the shot to win.

Word on Martell, btw, it's not injury, he was suspended indefinitely (Sounds like for the rest of the reason possibly) for attitude problems. Didn't know if you guys knew.

AZ Reid was a monster though.

AJ11!!!And yeah dance we heard about McDuffy last week. We've been playing well without him. I love seeing McWorld get some minutes at the point. Not sure why Austin/Wilder aren't getting any (unless injury is still plaguing Cole and now Bleek?). As far as comparing this year's squad and that one, it's tough. I'd say if Chris had a complementary piece down low - like a JLF or Art - then that would've been a great team. Or even a Corey Watkins/Andy Savetchenko/Aaron Gill would've helped out. Jeffers was a solid, versatile number three. As for the guards, Bynum was a solid pass first point guard who played solid defense and came on as a bit of a scorer his senior year. AJ11 can do a better job of scoring and has really been improving as of late. WHF was solid and the Highs lived and died by his performance night in and night out. I really think that team could've been special if Branden Smith stuck around. He was a slasher that could also step back behind the arc to knock down the three-ball. But I love the way this team plays and how they play together. I often asked Samuels why not play a 1-3-1 defense in this conference, which I thought would be very effective. Well Coach Greenberg installed it and you could tell it's working. Sure last season we took our lumps, but just like the west coast offense, it takes time to get it down. And it seems like our troops have it down. Anywho let's blow the Bucs out in the second half so our starters can be rested for High Point. VMI is up six in mid first half. Would be sweet if we win, they lose, we'll be tied for 1st.
