This is a great preview.....Doesn't it seem that Big Art is not getting his due coming into the Big South?

I'll hope to get my hands on Lindy's/Athlon previews this week too. Yeah Big Art is going to compete for best newcomer of the year. With his size and game to go along with the toughness JLF brings, this is the best frontcourt I have seen since 2000/01 @ RU.

community.foxsports.com/blogs/goodmanonfox/2008/10/30/ROOKIE_RUNDOWN_WOMENS_DUNKING_MACHINERADFORD READY TO JUMPYou wouldn’t necessarily expect a team that won 10 games a year ago to be picked second in its conference. However, Radford is chosen behind only Winthrop in the Big South this season because Brad Greenberg returns just about everyone from last year’s squad. ``We have more experience than anyone else in the league, but we haven’t proven anything yet,” Greenberg said. All five starters come back – senior wings Martell McDuffy (14.4 ppg) and Kenny Thomas (14.3 ppg), junior point guard Amir Johnson (13.3 ppg, 5.5 apg) and big men Joey ####-Flohr (11.6 ppg, 6.8 rpg) and Eric Hall. Greenberg feels as though ####-Flohr might be the best low-post player in the league and that he’s got another big man in Art Parakhouski, a 6-foot-11 native of Belarus who spent last season at the College of Southern Idaho, that could move Hall to the bench. ``Art’s got a lot of potential,” Greenberg said. With ####-Flohr and Parakhouski – as well as Johnson – as juniors, it sets things up for the Highlanders to have another quality group next season – especially when 6-foot-8 Binghamton transfer Lazar Trifunovic becomes eligible. ``We won’t look like we belong in the Big South with that size,” Greenberg said. Greenbergsaid that freshman point guard Aaron Austin should battle Johnson for minutes – and Radford already has four early commits expected to sign in Nov. – guards Evan Faulkner and Michael Wooten, wing Blake Smith and forward Tommy Spagnolo.
