38-29 lead at the half. We’re hitting the boards hard, that is the difference right now

Man Paul Biancardi is ready to take Jermaine Marrow on a date. He’s in love.

Shew that was nerve racking. Does that seal the #1 for us? I believe it does. I honestly think it will come down to us and Hampton in the final in a great game. We win in one to remember on our home court. That being said, its not going to be a cakewalk just to get to the final. Big South always has some fighters.

Well after looking at everything updated, we haven’t clinched it yet. These are the scenarios we could clinch -we win -we win/lose and Winthrop loses -we lose, Winthrop win, Hampton win -we lose, Winthrop win, Hampton lose, Asheville lose
If we lose, Winthrop wins and Hampton loses and Asheville wins we will be #2 seed. I think that is the only scenario. I am pretty sure this is correct. I hope we cruise cause it’ll be stressful as hell. If we were playing anybody but GW this weekend we would already have it wrapped up by tie breakers.

I think that is the only scenario. I am pretty sure this is correct. I hope we cruise cause it’ll be stressful as hell. If we were playing anybody but GW this weekend we would already have it wrapped up by tie breakers. I don't think the Hampton game matters: If Hampton loses, it's crystal clear that WU is the #1 seed since the standings would be: WU 15-3 RAD 15-3 GWU 11-7 AVL 9-9 LW 9-9 HU 8-10 WU and RAD split...so we move down the standings. Both would have split against GWU. But WU would have a 3-0 record against AVL/LW, and RAD has a 2-1 record against those teams. If Hampton wins, it gets a little trickier: WU 15-3 RAD 15-3 GWU 11-7 HU 9-9 AVL 9-9 LW 9-9 Again, WU/RAD split, and they both split against GWU. Both teams have a 4-1 record against the HU/AVL/LW group, and then identical records against the remaining teams in the league (1-0 against CSU, and 2-0 against the rest). So then the NET ranking breaks the tie. After last night's games, WU ranks 150th in the NET and RAD ranks 162nd. Given that Radford would be taking another loss, I can't see how they'd make up that much ground (even without knowing all the ins and outs of the NET). www.ncaa.com/rankings/basketball-men/d1/ncaa-mens-basketball-net-rankingsSo I think you guys clinch as long as either you guys win, Winthrop loses, or Asheville loses. I don't think the Hampton game will matter.

Hampton owns the tie breaker over Asheville if they are tie. So does the tiebreaker not start with Hampton? Hampton swept Asheville, for seeding purposes they’d win that tiebreaker first.

I think there may have been a time where that was the procedure, but now you treat any set of tied teams as a collective when comparing records. You don't break that tie. The current procedure is on page 7 of this weekly report: s3.amazonaws.com/sidearm.sites/bigsouth.sidearmsports.com/documents/2020/2/24/2019_20_Men_s_Basketball_Report_Week_15.pdf
