It has been a lot of fun reading articles about this game, it has made me swell up with pride that they say we are a great mid-major, with experience, and a winning mentality and how it will be a great win for Notre Dame. That has never been us as a program, and I've been following this team for 27 years waiting to hear that. They have talked about how we are experienced and talented, but that the raw young talent of Notre Dame will win out in the end. They haven't acknowledged that we have an X-factor in this game. The X-factor is that Mike Jones Knows how to beat talent with experience, and has been working on a strategy for a week. I can't wait to see how this one turns out.

Maybe Caleb can pull a Chris Clemons then, running the point and jacking threes and winning the game by himself.

Excellent first half! I like Caleb at the point and he’s on fire! Pilot also playing well early!

What is the deal with Carlik? Second suspension, this is not good.

Reasonably good first half performance given our current circumstances (Carlik). Tanner absolutely on fire and without him we’d possibly be down 10. But ND also hitting more threes than I think they are ca-able of sustaining into the 2nd half.
Bottom line- we are in a good position to surprise some people tonight.

I like our experience in the second half. This team always plays good in close games, doesn't get rattled. I am so sad about Carlik, hope he gets back soon.

Very nice start to the half. Only concern right now is fouls. Not sure of the situation but we have picked up a few down low.

Doesn't get much better that beating the Irish. I just love watching us compete against competition like this. We were the better team the whole way, wasn't one of the fluke upsets. We have a lot of opportunities to have one hell of a year. This was a huge win, we have an extremely difficult OOC schedule, and we have already beaten two pretty good teams. We have a lot of options, a lot of depth again this season and now a ton of experience.
Jones was at the game and was pretty excited afterwards. He will get it together. I was terrified Travis Fields had hurt his knee towards the end, but he was able to return. It seemed he was hurting in his thigh area but it looked kind of nasty on the replay. I assume he is okay.
